I always equip my shotgun and repeater then unmount right afyer, sometimes I'll have those weapons, sometimes one is still stowed on my horse, sometimes both are still on the horse, sometimes I get one of them amd another random weapon.ĭont get me started on how dumb their horse AI is and the implementation of law/bounties which you thought would be polish and realist in a game claiming to be so in western times where you play an outlaw. Lets not forget about the game messing with your guns loadout from time to time when you start a mission or mount your horse. Some of them got good treatment but have you seen the golden retriever, corgi, 'pit bull', Labrador retriever, English cocker spaniel, beagle, papillon, American Eskimo dog, and Shiba inu in. LOL in my opinion the dogs look way better than cats in the Sims 4. I'd give it a solid 8.5-9, but I really dont get all the 10 it is getting, since to me 10 out of 10 means perfect or near perfect. Currently crying over how ragdolls look in The Sims 4. I did a mission with a boat robbery this morning, shot the pistol in a guy hand in slow mo when he took out his (mission with staruss, trelawny and javier) the guy didnt flinch and shot me, the game is so scripted and obliges you to make choices while forgoing realism at time. Sure it tries but its far from being realistic.
So many mechanics are wonky and dont make rdr2 realistic. Unless killing someone in a forest with no witness meant you'd get a bounty in 1899, or that slightly rubbing a stranger shoulder while walking in the street was worthy of getting you shot. After 50h+ of rdr2 it feels like most mechanic were brought from gta and never touched to be more realistic.
